What counts as a registered target?
A target is a distinct application, API, or host you register for testing. Your plan's target limit is how many you can have registered at once — you can add and remove targets as your environment changes.
Which limits reset each month?
Consumable quotas — pentests and remediation PRs — are allotted per billing cycle and reset at the start of each cycle. Registered targets, team members, and repository connections are concurrent limits: they cap how many you have active at once, not how many you use over time.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — the Growth plan includes a 7-day free trial so you can register a target and run real tests before you commit. No credit card is required to start. Starter and Pro don't include a trial.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from your account at any time, and your limits adjust to the new plan on your next cycle.
Do you offer annual billing?
Plans shown here are billed monthly. For annual terms or custom pricing, talk to sales.
What is an authenticated pentest?
Vortex tests behind your login using credentials you provide — exercising authenticated flows and role-based access, not just the public-facing surface. It surfaces the vulnerabilities an unauthenticated scan can't reach. Authenticated pentests are included on every plan, starting with Starter.
